Antibody database

For establishing the reference epigenomes, new immunoreagents were produced specifically for all samples to be analyzed by the BLUEPRINT consortium: the IHEC core set (H3K4me3, H3K4me1, H3K9me3, H3K27me3, H3K27ac, H3K36me3) and an additional BLUEPRINT-set of 7 epigenetic marks and 2 protein (H3K79me3, H3K9/14ac, H4K20me3, H4pan, H4K16ac, H2AZ-ac, H2AZ, p300, PolII). The reagents are being produced by Diagenode a batch of minimally 10 milligram of BLUEPRINT-grade polyclonal and/or monoclonal antibodies sufficient for ~5000 ChIP-seq assays.

QC criteria based on (semi‐)quantitative standards have been defined and are being applied. All SOPs and raw data of antibody QC are being made publicly available and ChIP-seq SOP and QC are being defined for each individual antibody. Independent testing and validation (in particular peptide-array, MS analysis and ChIP-seq) will be performed by BLUEPRINT partners Nijmegen and Cellzome.
